The instructions suggest using water to loosen the pulverisation sensitizer from the bottle. The reason is must be distilled is considering there are no ions in distilled h2o. Ions from tap water, brita filters or bottled water volition react with the sensitizer pulverisation and crusade the problems mentioned in the 1 star reviews. The pulverisation will not mix into the emulsifier properly and it loses its light sensitivity. I bought this kit yesterday, used distilled water and my emulsion was smooth and light-green as expected. I promise this helps. Happy printing!
